Noor is a medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine. She joined the Meucci lab in 2023 to engage in biomedical research alongside her medical school curriculum.

Noor earned a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University in 2022 and an MS degree in Biomedical Science from Drexel University in 2023. She was previously involved in research on neural regenerative and developmental biology in Nematostella vectensis and contributed to two peer-reviewed publications.

In the Meucci lab, Noor works with senior lab members to analyze how HIV neurotoxins affect structural properties of dendritic spines in CNS neurons. She analyzes a variety of experimental preparations, including live-cell imaging datasets from cortical brain slices, to determine how dendritic spines adapt over time in HIV animal models.
