Anthony is a talented undergraduate student at Drexel who is studying for a BS degree in chemistry with a minor in biological sciences. He previously worked in the lab or Dr. Irwin Chaiken at Drexel and Adesis, Inc. a chemistry CRO. His long-term goal is to become a physician scientist, where he can focus on the intersection of research and medicine and help translate lab findings into the clinic.
In the Meucci lab, Anthony works with senior lab members to optimize methods for expression of recombinant proteins in neurons and other types of cells.
Anthony is also the first Drexel undergraduate student to participate in our DUniBo scholarly exchange program! Starting this March, he will participate in a 6-month research experience at the University of Bologna, Italy in the Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine.
